Mortal Coil Media
A collaborative team of journalists, media specialists and filmmakers, Mortal Coil Media is a production company with a focus on factual documentaries and photojournalism specializing on telling stories from the margins.  

Producer
Dana Wilson has produced several short films shown on the international festival circuit, most recently 'Trial of a Child Denied' a documentary focusing on the coerced sterilization of Romany women that recently screened on CNN. She has also worked on the award-winning ‘Sick’, a 35mm short drama about depression and 'WMD' a feature political thriller. In 2005, she produced a documentary for Transport for London aimed at breaking down barriers between bus drivers and city residents and the following year an educational documentary in Kenya and Uganda examined the spread of AIDS along the northern transport corridor. She was the photo editor of The Prague Post for more than two years and freelances as a photojournalist for publications that include The Christian Science Monitor, The Washington Post, Alberta Views Magazine and Marketplace.
 
Director
Michelle Coomber is a multi-skilled filmmaker with an international perspective and a specialism in social issues storytelling. She is currently a director at Mortal Coil Media and helped found the UNEP-supported channel green.tv. Her most recent documentary focused on coerced sterilization in the Czech Republic, and she has directed films for the United Nations in Cambodia and Tunisia. She is working on upcoming projects in India and Slovakia.
Her work has been broadcast by the BBC, ITV, Al Jazeera, CNBC and CNN, screened at London's IMAX, NFT and Curzon cinemas, and at many international festivals. She has made films for organisations including Adidas, Apple, Fairtrade Foundation, Greenpeace, UNICEF and WWF. Michelle has a masters in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths University and is a member of Esodoc - the European Union's Media Plus programme for professional filmmakers.

Director of Photography
Michael Kabos is a highly skilled Director of Photography and documentary filmmaker. Previous broadcast credits include documentaries filmed for Czech TV, TV Nova, Slovak TV and TV Ocko.
Michal is bilingual, with experience filming in hostile environments, single and multi-camera shoots and international productions.
A sample of his most recent work include Dancer of the Year and Hail to Hunt.

Composers
Vojtech Lavicka is a violin maestro known best for his collaborations with Czech hip hop sensation Gipsy.cz. In 2007, the band performed at Glastonbury Festival in the UK and toured South Korea. In addition to performing with the bank Banda.cz, he has created an original score for the film 'Roming.'
  
Guy Dowsett is an eclectic composer and musician whose travels have helped cultivate a unique palette of influences and sounds. Recent collaborations and projects include theatre group Krepsko, Kraak klezmer and ongoing soundtrack project MungoBaby. Commissions include percussion group Woof and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
 
Mayim Alpert is a versatile musician, composer and sound engineer. He holds a BA with Honors in Music from Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota. Currently he is a member of soul-circus band Duchess and the Kittens, soundtrack project MungoBaby, and the Justin Lavash Band. Since 2005 he has been an active member of the creative team of Krepsko theatre group, composing, performing and creating nonverbal theatre and site-specific happenings.

Talley Mulligan is the product of a lifelong involvement with music collided with degrees in architecture and film. A drummer and founding member of several notable bands from the American Southeast, his focus has slowly shifted from gigging to studio session work to computer-aided composition and electronic manipulation as a catalyst for experimentation and improvisation. He is active as a sound designer for multi-media and film and currently a member of the Prague-based explorative trio MungoBaby.

London Media Group 
André Toussaint develops IT policies and strategies for startup companies in London, including networks, websites and eBusiness solutions. He established the first international communication platform for tsunami victims and rescue helpers and a web based civil service management solution to coordinate an orphans refugee camp in Indonesia. He runs the London Media Group, a network that combines innovative spirit with prudent project guidance with a special focus on social and environmental issues. The London Media Group members have professionally assisted companies, non-governmental organizations, campaigning groups, communities and governments throughout the world.
